Four Actions To Dramatically Increase Website Traffic

To increase website traffic is a challenge. Today I will share with you how I increased my blog website traffic from a brand spanking new website to over 1,000 visitors in just 3 weeks.

My techniques did not involve paying for traffic nor was it the result of a back link from another highly successful blog.

I understand 1,000 visitors is not a lot but it's 1,000% more than I had when I released the website.

Here's what I did:

1. Write a lot of blog posts

I will admit this is not easy. I did it for 3 months straight, 7 days a week and it burned me out. Limit yourself to what you can handle. Post 5 new articles per week max.

2. Write short posts

It's no surprise that short posts are the ticket. Attention spans are short!

3. Use WordPress as your framework

WordPress has come a long way. There is no better blogging platform on the market.. that's my opinion, of course.

4. Use a WordPress SEO Plugin

Search Engine Optimization(SEO) plugins are excellent helpers in generating traffic. The traffic is a result of the SEO plugin doing it's job. I use Yoast's SEO Plugin right now and it works very well. It's simple, easy to use and free!

These four items were definitely major factors in my increase in website traffic.
